We are looking for a person to help us with some of our outside work.
The total hours are 340 a year (3 hours a day – 1 day a week in winter; 2 days a week in Spring/Autumn and 3 days week in Summer plus some weekend work at our Community events)
The role will support local litter picking; bin emptying; weeding of areas and other similar jobs around Pontyclun Town centre.

Pay will be averaged out over the year at £12.21 per hour (minimum wage). The role has paid holidays equivalent to 25 days for a full time person. Initially the role will be for 12 months from 1st April 2025 for review in January 2026.

Volunteers can help us by doing a variety of roles including –
- Litter picking
- Looking after flowers beds
- Helping with footpaths and Woodlands
- Supporting individuals and groups at Cafe 50
- Developing our website and online museum
- Helping develop a history trail for the Community
