You will find a playground here and also the Pontyclun Community Garden
Ivor Woods – Ivor Woods is owned and managed by Pontyclun Community Council. This wood is shown on maps of the early 1800s so is over 200 years old and full of a great variety of trees including Oaks, Ash, Beech and Sycamore. There are various paths and benches to sit on.
The outside of the wood has the most variety of trees with the central area mainly Ash trees whose age suggests they were planted sometime between the two world wars
