Can you spare some time to Volunteer?

The Community Council is looking to maintain a list of people who are happy to be Community Volunteers.

We often have opportunities for people to help, from Events to Litter picking; helping Community groups to special projects like creating our online museum.

Not only do we have opportunities, we also regularly get asked by other local organisations if we know anyone who might be able to help them.

If you think you might be able to help please e-mail us your details with an idea of how much time you can spare and the sorts of things that you would like to do.

Putting your name forward does not commit you to any specific work as we will contact all potential volunteers as activities arise to see who wants to do them and there is no minimum commitment – even if you can only spare an hour every now and again that might be very useful.
