Babell Chapel Groesfaen

Babell Chapel, Groesfaen

Babell Methodist Chapel sits in the centre of Groesfaen village just set back above the A4119. It was built in 1866 in the Sub-Classical style of the gable-entry type.

The Chapel is now used as a religious meeting house by the Plymouth Bretheren

Stone in Groesfaen

If you look at the wall by the bus shelter you can see that there appears to be a stone which has markings on it. The markings are very difficult to read though the last word seems to be “Cardiff” so this may be an old milestone
