Picnic in the Park

Picnic in the park

Our popular Picnic in the Park is back on 10th June from 1pm till 4pm at Pontyclun park.

The Picnic gives our local clubs, societies and sports groups an opportunity to showcase what they do in a family friendly and fun way.

Most of the stalls will have activities for kids to keep them amused whilst they are there and of course there is the playground and Muga for games

We will be having music from The Pashy Pops and a variety of kids activities and demos to keep you all entertained.

This year the Picnic will include

Basketball, and Yoga sessions

A foraging event from Pontyclun Environment Trust

Bouncy castles; fairground ride and fairground games

If you do not want to bring your own picnic we will have a number of food and drink options on site to feed you all

We recommend that you walk down to the park, however should you be coming by car, you can park at the Car park in Heol yr Orsaf or along Cowbridge Road by the park. There is also space between the Park and the Rugby pitches for a few cars but we ask that these are left for people with disabilities or young children.

There is public transport available with buses and trains running through Pontyclun.
